ABOUT ME
Putting My Experience
to Work
My name is Wendy Shelton, I am 56 years old, and with my husband of 30 years we are your neighbors in Kewaunee.
Along with raising our five children, I have a degree in psychology and a masters in school social work. You may have seen me as a volunteer in numerous organizations— Friends of the Library Used Bookstore, Farm Technology Days, Kewaunee County Fair, Christkindlmarkt, Holy Rosary (Children’s Choir, Marketing Committee, Rummage Sale). I am also the president-elect for the Kewaunee Rotary Club, and secretary and board member for the Marquette Historic District. I am involved because I care about our community and its people.
My background as a school social worker, executive and board member of many community organizations positions me for the work here in Kewaunee to support our great town.
Because I am retired, I have the time and flexibility to learn about issues and work on solutions, attend meetings, and respond to constituent requests. I am dedicated to help formulate affordable solutions to our community’s needs. I look forward to the challenge, the learning process, and the opportunity to serve you and Kewaunee. Learn more about what I’ll do as your alderman on the back side of this page.
